| GULF MULTIRESPONSE RANGE IS LAUNCHED |
The first product to be launched under the MultiResponse banner is Oil Absorbent, a blend of chemically modified natural plant fibers from a fully renewable source to produce a truly amazing, high performance product.
The natural fibers structure of the product has a unique affinity for solvents, oils and oil-based paints, which delivers unequalled performance in spill containment and control. Oil is rapidly absorbed into the capillary structure of the plant material, even when saturated by water. Once absorbed the oil cannot escape. It does not disperse even in water or under mechanical pressure. The spilled oil is totally absorbed in a fifth of time of conventional absorbents. After a spill area has been correctly treated with MultiResponse Oil Absorbent there is no slippery residue left behind. This significantly reduces the risk of injury to personnel. Slips, trips and falls are the most common types of accident occurring in the workplace. |
MultiResponse Oil Absorbent used in conjunction with the mobile MultiResponse Recycling Centre (pictured) and can be recycled up to eight times, minimizing waste, reducing the amount of stock required and delivering massive savings in waste disposal costs.
MultiResponse Oil Absorbent is ideal for spillages of any of the following:

Diesel, Petrol, Aviation Fuel, Avgas, Bio Diesel, Heating Oil, Paraffin, Kerosene, Distillate, Gas Oil, Jet Fuel, Nitromethane (nitro).
- Oils
Engine oils, Hydraulic oils, Cutting oil, Stamping oil, Pressing oil, EP Oils, Drawing oils, Broaching oils, Crude oil, Vegetable oils, Silicone Oils, Paraffin oils.
- Paraffinic (hydrocarbon)
Regular kerosene, Odourless kerosene, Hexane, Octane, Heptane, Petrol.Diesel, Distillate, Aviation Fuel.
- Emulsion/semi-aqueous fluids
Cutting fluids, Hydraulic fluids, Emulsion paint, Anti-Freeze, Glycols, Brake fluid.

Gulf MultiResponse Oil Absorbent has already been successfully trialed by Gulf Oil Nederland (GON) in its blending facility. "Our people in the factory are enthusiastic about this great stuff," enthused QHSE Manager, Geert Van Lekkerkerker. GON has already made a follow-up order. |
